Friends

Next up, Friends' Photos. I have less of these, so I'm looking for some of you to help me out here.  (You know who you are.  Heh.)  In all fairness, having exposed my childhood photos to the world now, I think it only fair that you help me with some of yours. Ha Ha. Mind you, if you don't help me, I'll ferret them out somehow without your help.  (Just kidding . . . . maybe.  Heh.)

For now, I'm simply going to point you to each friend's photos.  I eventually hope to add frames to this section to allow you to stay on the page to view a separate set of photos.  For now this is just gonna have to do.

This is becoming a fascinating exercise for me.  As I complete each new reflection on these pages, I learn a little more about myself in the process.  I believe I understand now, how writers of autobiographical works feel as they commit their thoughts, reflections, and memories to paper for public consumption.  Its a very revealing process--in ways you never quite grasp until you read the finished work.

Thoughts and memories both soften and crystalize with the passing of time.  We meet so many people in a lifetime.  People who touch us, affect us, provoke us, move us, and change and alter us--irrevocably.  What remains after the distillation processes of a lifetime of thoughts,  reflections, and growth is the purest essence of their presence in our hearts and memories.  If some of my memories and reflections on these pages differ from your own, or what you know about me, temper your conclusions with these observations.  These are after all, my own reflections of a lifetime, however lacking they may be in some small detail.  If you're observant you'll note one common thread uniting these reflections.  Family means everything to me, and the friends who've touched my life the most-- and have left the longest lasting impressions--are those who share or embody my deep love of family.
