Computers--both personal and business computing tools and resources--have been a personal fascination of mine since I first began my career in the Information Systems Industry in 1973. Up till that point the only experiences I'd
had with computers were with Sun and Snap-On engine analyzers I
had used as an
auto mechanic. It was all very new then, but one just sensed that these new tools would find ever more
utility and application throughout society.
Clearly, that was putting it mildly. I have no intention of rehashing the amazing growth of the computer industry on these pages. But I will share some personal observations about both hardware and software--some great and some horrible. And I'll try to give you a flavor of both the Autobahns and back alleys of the World of Computers that particularly interest me. Hope you enjoy them.
